Our 2017 Lunch & Learn series kicks off with a captivating topic and 1 hour CE Credit!.... the impact of social media on claims and litigation.

Course Objective:
Using social media as the means of communicating with friends, colleagues and acquaintances is not only here to stay, but is growing exponentially.  Savvy claims representatives and litigators are learning that these often candid and unfiltered postings can be a gold mine in defending against a wide variety of claims.  This seminar explores the types of evidence than can be gleaned from social media sites and the legal and ethical challenges associated with obtaining and using this evidence.  The course will also discuss a number of recent court decisions that have provided some guidance in this emerging area and provide practical advice and tips for claims representatives to effectively use social media evidence to resolve claims.
